Harper's Closet

As I was sorting through a massive pile of baby clothes that no longer fit Harper over the weekend, I realized I had never done a post about how I organized her closet that was requested a long time ago.
To be honest, it was only recently that I organized her closet and made it more functional. I used to get so overwhelmed with the amount of laundry going on each week, that I just threw things into drawers and onto hangers and promised Id organize it later, which, lets be real, never happenedHarpers closet is an odd shape and its small. In order to really see whats in it, I wanted to have all of her clothes front and center. To make this happen, I purchased a closet doubler system to add an extra row to the main closet bar. I have this one and this one in there.
I store tees, tanks, tops, cardigans and some onesies on the top bar. On the bottom bar I keep dresses and rompers.
On the right side of the closet, I hang clothes that are currently too big, a few tutus and some of her fancier dresses that arent worn very often.I keep her leggings, socks, shorts and bloomers/diaper covers in her dresser. Thats also where we keep crib sheets, blankets, some bibs, etc. When she was wearing a lot of onesies as an infant, I had those in there too. I use these fabric boxes from IKEA as drawer dividers to help keep things organized.leggings & shortsbloomers/diaper covers & socks

I'm keeping some of my favorite clothes of Harper's in our storage closet for the time being. I want to have them around if we have a second girl one day. I also have a bunch of gently used and new clothes that I'm donating.

Hope you have a great day!
