A Day at the Aquarium

Toronto is such a fantastic city with great attractions and many of our friends recommended we visit the new (or new to us at least) Ripley's Aquarium which is right beside the CN Tower.

Harper absolutely loved it! I was a little bit surprised at how outgoing she was at the aquarium since she's been so timid during new social situations and in new places lately. During the stingray feeding, she was smiling at people all around us and waving to everyone nearby.

She also really wanted to be "set free" so we let her explore the different ehxibits and followed right behind and I lifted her up when she needed a boost to see something. She was pointing like crazy at all of the fish.

I highly recommend Ripley's Aquarium if you're visiting Toronto, whether you have children or not. It's so beautiful (especially the jellyfish) and it's really well laid-out. I actually liked it a lot better than the Houston Aquarium if I'm being honest.
This was SO fun! I crawled and Harper walked through a tunnel inside of one of the aquariums!
After the aqarium we stopped at a flower shop near Hazelton Lanes and picked up some peonies for my mom's anniverary.
We enjoyed some Swiss Chalet for dinner (I'm obsessed with the sauce!) and then we played outside before bath and bedtime. Harper has been sleeping just like she does at home, which took us by surprise. She's even napping really well. We have her sleeping in a pack n' play which she does sometimes at home for naps (on weekends) so she's used to it and maybe that helped?
Peek-a-boo! I see you!
Harper's white dress is from Joe Fresh (currently in stores), but I can't find it online---this top is very similar, also from Joe Fresh!

Have a great week!
