DIY Valentines II

Last week I posted about making Valentines for a blogger Valentine exchange I'm participating in. So many Valentines are coming in the mail for Harper and it's so fun to open them and display them.

This weekend I made Valentines for the babies in Harper's daycare class as well as her teachers. I went with the same painted backgroung I used on my last cards but was inspired by a design I made on my chalkboard a few weeks ago.

So with this as my inspiration, I sat down and cut out lots and lots of hearts using gold glitter wrapping paper for the girls and neutral colored paper for the boys. I varied the sizes of the hearts.
so many hearts...
more painted cards- I rounded the edges on these too...
I used a hole punch tool to create holes for the twine to go though.  Here is the finished product:
When I was done, I cut out a large heart that I glued onto the the back of each card and wrote each child/teacher's name and "Happy Valentine's Day!" and signed Harper's name.

It was lots of fun making these and I can't wait to make more next year when Harper can participate. Wishing you a happy Sunday!
